Here at Keelby Post Office we co-ordinate a voluntary driver scheme.It is purely a non-profit making scheme and was set up to benefit all within Keelby and its outlying areas.
HOW IT WORKS.
For those in need of transport to essential appointments should first contact us at Keelby Post Office either in person or by telephone on 10469 560201 during the following hours.....
MONDAYS...12.30-17.30
TUESDAYS...12.00-17.30
WEDNESDAYS TO FRIDAY...09.00-17.30
(we cannot operate over weekends due to family commitments.)
Once the details have been received we then place a driver with you and call you with the details of the driver.
The fees for the service are £4.00 or a journey of up to 4 miles.Thereafter it is 40 pence per mile.Other costs that may be incurred include tolls and parking fees.
All drivers are subject to CRB checks and at present are Keelby residents.
